Ashab Al-Khafi

What are the characteristics of a firm and strong heart?

1. Believe in the one and only God, Allah.
2. Believe that everything happens for a reason and Allah knows best. (Surah Al-Kahfi: 14)
3. Believe that Allah is capable of miracles, but He will only make miracles happen if we do our part (not be lazy.)

How can one achieve continual guidance from Allah SWT, as achieved by the Ashab Al-Khafi?

1. Self-sacrifice
In the case of the Ashab Al-Khafi, they fleed from their comfort zone. They don't mind having to live in a cave for the time being, as they know Allah is with them.

2. Perseverance
Find ways to maintain our belief. No matter what others (that don't believe in what we believe in) say, we have to built upon our knowledge and not fall for the mind games of Syaitan.

3. Self-control
We must practice self-control when dealing with someone who are against us in religious terms. In a sense, we must try to tactfully change his/her mentality, instead of forcefully doing so. In other words, doing so in a constructive manner, not destructive. This is the very foundation of Islam itself.

How Does Islam Illustrate that everyone deserves Islam and Its morality

Salams everyone,

*drum rolls. So here it is, the blog created by the aesthetically-challenged bros. We're gonna use the sistahs' points to explain the above topic. So here we go......

In Essence:

We need to be kind to ALL, regardless of race, language, religion and species.

One of the ways of being kind is to RESPECT others and this is clearly explained in the

Quran, Surah Al Kafirun 109 verse 6 " To you be your religion and to me my religion"

Furthermore, Nabi Muhamad s.a.w is our Rahmatan Lil Alamin. An example of his many good deeds was that he would frequently feed a blind man although he was non-muslim.

In Islam, be good means doesn't mean to be good to other muslims only. However, it means

to treat everyone muslims and non muslims well.

We shall further discuss this topic through the following categories

1) Education

2) Law

3) Politics

4) Others

How Does Islam Illustrate that everyone deserves Islam and Its morality

WOW! We can blog in different colours!Anyway, here are the bros squeezing whatever is left of their brains to explain the above thru EDUCATION Again, thanks to the sistah's this job is now humanely possible for us....

Did you guys, girls and aliens know that Islam and Muslim Scientists have contributed a lot to the world. Yeah, I know, when u say Muslim, everyone has the stereotypical image of a bearded dude in a Sarban on his head. Not many people relate Islam and Muslims to scientific or medical breakthroughs. Hey, sorry to burst your pampers but it is in fact the opposite!

Islam and Muslim scientist have contributed a lot in the world of maths, medicine and even astronomy!

Education:

1) Algebra - Algebra comes from the root word Al Jabr and is actually founded by Al Khawarizmi. Yeah, so your

maths algebra, calculus and was founded by him.

2) Medicine - There have been a significant amount of contribution to the medical world as well. Pioneers of

neurosurgery, craniotomy and experimental surgery and the development of some drugs were

championed by Muslims of the past. For instance, Abu Al Qasim Al Zahrawi pioneered neurosurgery as

well craniotomy. Ibn Sinaa discovered over 100 treatments for diseases and this treatments have

been published in a renowned European Journal called The Canon of Medicine. However, sad to say,

some westerners have changed these muslim doctors' names to Abulcasis and Avicenna respectively

and has hence masked the Islamic identity that comes with their original names.

3) Astronomy - Al Battuta discovered that our world is round. There are even verses in the Quran pertaining to Astronomy which correlate with contemporary Astrophysics and Astronomy. Modern science has discovered that the Universe is constantly expanding

and it the Quran, it is said:

"The heaven, We have built it with power. Verily. We are expanding it (51:47).

How Does Islam Illustrate that everyone deserves Islam and Its morality

Ah lan wah sahlan! Here we go again. As the bros get amazed at the fact that they can blog

in different colours, here they are relating the above question to LAW.

Syariah:

1) Zakat

2) Muamalah - No interest

3) Munakahat - Marriage

4) Wasiat - Faraid

4) Protection of other religions - Nabi S.a.w protected the Jews in the Medina. Allowing them to practise their religion freely.
